Licensed Work: The source code, scripts, prompts and documentation in this
repository, as delivered to you through the Agent4Lease
control plane.
THIS IS NOT AN OPEN-SOURCE LICENSE. The Licensed Work is proprietary software
made available only to customers with an active Agent4Lease lease (a paid
subscription, or a written agreement with the Licensor).
1. Grant. While your lease is active and you comply with this license, the
Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable,
revocable license to download, install, run and modify the Licensed Work
for the internal operations of the single organization named on your
lease, on infrastructure that organization controls, up to the number of
agents and data planes included in your plan.
2. Restrictions. You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
(a) copy, publish, sell, rent, sublicense or otherwise distribute the
Licensed Work or any modified version of it to any third party;
(b) offer the Licensed Work, or any service built substantially on it, to
third parties as a hosted, managed or competing agent-leasing or
infrastructure-automation service;
(c) share your pairing token, or use one lease for more organizations,
agents or data planes than your plan allows;
(d) remove, disable or circumvent license checks, pairing, heartbeat or
telemetry features, or any copyright or license notice;
(e) use the Licensed Work to build a product that competes with Agent4Lease.
3. Term and termination. This license lasts for the period of your active
lease. It ends automatically if your lease is cancelled, revoked or not
renewed, or if you breach this license. On termination you must stop using
the Licensed Work and delete all copies of it in your possession or
control. The Licensor may revoke a lease for non-payment or breach.
4. Updates. You receive updates to the Licensed Work only while your lease is
active. Versions you already hold may not be used after termination.
5. Ownership. The Licensor retains all rights, title and interest in the
Licensed Work. No rights are granted except those expressly stated here.
Your own configuration, infrastructure and data remain yours.
6. Third-party components. Open-source dependencies installed by the Licensed
Work remain under their own licenses.
7. Trademarks. This license grants no right to use the Agent4Lease name, logo
or other marks.
8. Warranty disclaimer. THE LICENSED WORK IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND
NON-INFRINGEMENT. The Licensed Work automates changes to infrastructure;
you are responsible for testing it in a safe environment, reviewing what
it will do, and maintaining backups before you run it against production.
9. Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE
LICENSOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR REVENUE, AND THE
LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID FOR THE
LEASE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
10. General. This license is governed by the laws of the State of California,
USA, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. If any part is unenforceable,
the rest remains in effect.
